Zooz ZEN20 Smart Power Strip: Partial Functionality
This device did rather well in the ADC/IQ 4 testing. While it falls victim to some ongoing limitations with multi-channel z-wave devices, it performed better than expected, IMHO.
Chief Limitations are:
- Power monitoring is per strip, not per outlet
- Z-wave direct associations FROM the strip to other devices doesn’t work.* (but associations from other devices TO the strip do work.)
- USB charging sense actually appears in IQ4 panel, but you can’t do anything with it in ADC or automations/notifications
I have this up and running now on my personal IQ 4, and it is working very well. I even have individual outlets being controlled via direct association from individual Zooz ZEN32 Scene Controller buttons.
