This would be an exploration of the following alarm panels specifically targeted to the functionality possible if they are NOT associated to alarm.com, nor had any remote monitoring or monthly fees. It is intended to be a way to make use of panels left behind, or easily attainable on eBay and perhaps act as a stepping stone to enabling monitoring in the future.
These old panels have such great capability and utility which sometimes is hidden from the consumer because of the local alarm vendor. In this process we will expose those functions and capabilities. We will also discuss the benefits that a UL listed professional system can bring the homeowner. Purpose built devices tend to win every time.
