(Sneak Peek): The all new Zooz Tilt / Shock Sensor ZSE43 800 LR version is HERE

Wow. That is quite the list! But I do appreciate it.

The good news is that most of this was already targeted for my standard review process. Happy to figure out the remainder and include it in the video. At the moment I’m still in the testing phase and working with Zooz support on many details. The one I have is pre-production, and hand assembled so it may be slightly different than the shipping / production unit coming out soon.

I do have the parameter list and manual for the device, and Zooz has granted me permission to share it. I just posted it.. see below…

Also I have some of your answers already if you want a sneak peek:

  1. Binary state only.
  2. Yes, see the parameter list for details (once I post it). Also it can be calibrated once in place to accommodate the actual use case without manually setting parameters.
  3. to be tested
  4. to be tested
  5. Properly identified in JS UI.
  6. not sure what you mean by ‘carry over’? Parameter list will be in my other post.
  7. Yes. CR2450 is an upgraded feature over the CR2032. No data on life expectancy that I can find.
  8. It is the same dimensions as the ZSE44.
  9. Zooz does mention the outdoor case but I don’t yet see updated published ranges for that use case. I will ask.
