We just received the new Zooz ZEN58 LV relay, and I couldn’t wait to test it.
I took a minute to create a video of the unboxing and testing experience. When I receive a new device I typically run it through a number of standard tests for functionality and compatibility with whatever platform it will be connected to. At some point in the future I may do another video (or document here in a forum post) the standard testing process I use for each device.
This video is a good example of testing something new specifically with an IQ 4 and Alarm.com. This is especially important because IQ and ADC typically are very slow to add new devices to their compatible hardware lists, and in some cases, can’t test everything. It is for this reason we are attempting to crowdsource an ‘unofficial’ compatibility list in the post below.
